Christmas Party
08 Dec 11
This was the volunteers Christmas Party held at the home of Pat
and Tom Atkinson on November 27th at Diddillibah.. About 65
volunteers attended a great lunch at this beautiful home and its
lovely garden.
Noosa VIP tours provided 2 buses to bring volunteers down from
Katie Rose Cottage which allowed for so many to attend. Thanks to
Ray and Gail for this wonderful donation of the buses.
Sue Story was able to attend, unfortunately Terry Clarke Burrows
was on duty at the Cottage. Sue had the honor of cutting the
Christmas cake made and iced by Pat Mullhall. Of course Santa
made an appearance to hand out all the secret santa
presents.
All enjoyed a delicious lunch and a few wines and then went on
their merry way. It was so nice to see so many of our dedicated
volunteers there from the shops and Katie Rose Cottage.
Thanks to Pat and Tom for making their home available for this
occasion.

Hospice – The word hospice comes from the
Latin hospitium, which originally
meant the warm feeling between host and guest and later the place where
this feeling was experienced – a guest house.
