We are a locally owned and operated travel agent in
Caloundra. Since opening 5 years ago we have
supported the hospice through various methods. We were the main
sponsor of the race day and a supporting sponsor of the Rotary
Art Coast. We also colllect donations each year from our
client Xmas party and have a set up where we give a percentage
back to the hospice from bookings made by any "friends of the hospice". Just last month we donated
$1200 through this scheme.
I lost my brother in the UK to cancer 4 years ago now.
Luckily the hospice network over there is very extensive and he
spent the last three weeks of his life in a local hospice. This
made things much easier for his wife and my parents. Since
opening our business in Caloundra we have done whatever we can to
support such an important organisation and will continue to do
so.
