1st Open Day at Camellia House

Event Description

You are cordially invited to an open day on behalf of Australia Open Garden Scheme, at Camellia House, home of one of the largest collections of camellias in Queensland.

Wander through 680 Camellias, set in five and a half acres of mature botanical gardens with an ornamental lake, creek, a variety of wildlife and a beautiful assortment of plants, trees, shrubs, including over 40 varieties of exotic fruit species to explore and enjoy.           

Refreshments will be available in the heritage barn, including Devonshire teas and a light lunch. Browse through plant sales and quality Bric-a-brac on sale or simply enjoy the collection of Australian memorabilia on view.    

Be the first to explore this beautiful garden for $6 a head with a donation given to the “Sunshine Coast Community Hospice”, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July from 10 am till 4pm (Toilet Facilities available).

The Sunshine Coast Community Hospice are now interviewing for Charity Shop volunteers.

If you can commit between 2 and 4 hours per week to work in one of our shops at any of the following locations:

Katie Rose Boutique, 17 Obi Obi Road, Mapleton
