Gympie Race Day

Event Description

The Gympie Race day is on again this year after a very successful race day in 2010. The day proved to be a lot of fun with a considerable amount of money raised for the Sunshine Coast Community Hospice. The guests all travelled up by bus which was a great start to the day. Lunch was included in the price of the day.

If you would like to support the Katie-Rose Hospice Cottage and have a great day out then we would love you and your partner to come to the Gympie Picnic Race Day, and you could get a group of friends, co-workers, staff or clients together and book a table of eight or more.

As well, we have a competition for the “Best Dressed” and the prize is a hat of your choice to the value of $100 from Sheneek Facinators, locally made in Hervey Bay.

Ticket price includes:
Return coach transport from the Sunshine Coast
Admission to the Gympie Turf Club
Complimentary glass of champagne / beer upon arrival
Easy and convenient access to the betting ring
A chance to win the Lucky Admission Ticket prize
A two course buffet lunch in a private function area with an elevated view of the track, the finish line and the “Fashion on the Field” podium. For our exclusive use, a bar and large screen TV for viewing all races
To complete the day, the return journey done without the worry of driving yourself.

Return Coach Transport Details – Included in the price of your ticket you will travel in the comfort of air-conditioned coaches to and from the Gympie Turf Club.
You will be picked-up from one of these four collection points, please choose the one nearest to you for your convenience.
Bunnings Hardware car park, Caloundra Road, Caloundra - Arrive by 10:45am for departure at 11:00am.
Car park at Sunshine Plaza, end of Pikki Street, Maroochydore.  (UBD Ref. 69, F-10) Arrive by 11:15am for departure at 11:30am
Bus Stop - Opposite Cooroy Train Station, Elm Street Cooroy. Arrive by 11:45am for departure at 12:00noon
