Tewantin Op Shop Fashion Parade

Event Description

A Victim of Our Own Success!!

Following our last Fashion Parade on 22nd June this year, our Op Shop in Tewantin has received more than one request from local venues to hold another event.

We are happy to announce that a Second Fashion Parade will be held at Riverlands Retirement Home, 139 Moorindil Street, Tewantin on Wednesday, 31st August starting at 9.30 am in conjunction with their Morning Tea.

This Fashion Show will showcase some of our Spring and Summer stock as well as Winter items.

Bev Barton, our hardworking Fundraising Director, will be commentating on the parade, and will also be giving a short talk about the Hospice prior to the models treading the boards.

It is hoped that we will be able to coax some of Riverland’s residents to model our clothes together with our now “seasoned” catwalk volunteers from the Op Shop.
