$20000 received due to Nambour RSL generosity

The Sunshine Coast Community Hospice was absolutely thrilled to receive an unexpected $20,000 in July from the Nambour RSL Club.  As you can see from the expression on Mo Barnes face, it was definitely not what was expected when attending the Community Grants Night at the Club.

Thanks to our Gold Coin Supporters

The Sunshine Coast Community Hospice held its annual Gold Coin Appeal week commencing 14th June.  Volunteers manned various spots up and down the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Noosa during the week to 21st June collecting donations from the public to go towards the continuing care of palliative patients in the Hospice’s,  Katie Rose Cottage in Doonan.

Mountain Quilters Club donations

Members wish to thank the generosity of all those who attended our 25th Anniversary 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles' quilt show and purchased tickets in our beautiful 'heritage quilt' raffle.  It gave members great pleasure to present a cheque for $3,406 to Pat Mulhall from the Sunshine Coast Community Hospice for the proceeds of the raffle. If you can commit between 2 and 4 hours per week to work in one of our shops either:

Katie Rose Boutique, 17 Obi Obi Road, Mapleton
