The Sunshine Coast Community Hospice held its annual Gold Coin Appeal week commencing 14th June.  Volunteers manned various spots up and down the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Noosa during the week to 21st June collecting donations from the public to go towards the continuing care of palliative patients in the Hospice’s,  Katie Rose Cottage in Doonan.

Members wish to thank the generosity of all those who attended our 25th Anniversary 'Silver Threads and Golden Needles' quilt show and purchased tickets in our beautiful 'heritage quilt' raffle.  It gave members great pleasure to present a cheque for $3,406 to Pat Mulhall from the Sunshine Coast Community Hospice for the proceeds of the raffle.
